In the South Urals the competition of governor grants for public figures is being held. The fund is about one hundred million rubles. The competition includes 12 directions for real projects that can change the lives of the citizens for the better, chelTV reports.
It is noted that the approval of federal experts, who will consider the applications, will deserve only socially significant projects, such as helping people or animals, promoting a healthy lifestyle, culture, or science. For example, one of the projects is a hippotherapy centre where they want to rehabilitate children with disabilities for free.
It is specified that the governor’s grants in the Chelyabinsk region will be given at least twice a year. Active citizens with their initiatives can count on grant support without filling out endless papers and visiting official offices. They only need to tell about their initiative on the governor’s official website.
