12 Countries Compete for Design Development of Moscow Metro Stations

In Moscow will be held the International Competition for the development of the architectural and artistic appearance of 2 new metro stations, namely Marshal Zhukov Prospect of the Rublevo-Arkhangelsk Line and Klenovy Boulevard 2 of the Biryulevskaya Line, the press service of the Moscow Urban Planning and Construction Complex reported.

According to the deputy mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction, Andrey Bochkarev, 78 applications were submitted from 12 countries to participate in the competition. It is noted that there are 113 companies in total, of which 52 will participate individually and 61 will be part of 26 multinational consortia. Bochkarev stated that among the participants are companies from 30 cities of 12 countries of the world, namely Italy, Great Britain, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, Hungary, Germany, China, and others.
