During the days of the Moscow Maslenitsa festival, which will be held from February 21 to March 1, 30 free excursions will be held for citizens. This was reported by the press service of the Organizing Committee of street events Moscow Seasons.
Residents of the city are expected to take part in the project “Walking in Moscow.” Everyone will be able to visit places associated with Empress Elizabeth, artist Pavel Fedotov, philanthropist Pavel Tretyakov and other historical figures.
The guests of the events will be able to walk through the Hermitage Garden, Tverskaya Street, Kuznetskiy Most, Myasnitskaya Street and the former royal village of Pokrovskoye-Rubtsovo for one or two hours.
During the days of the Moscow Maslenitsa festival, special venues will be prepared on Manezhnaya Square, Orekhovy Boulevard, Matveevskaya Street and other parts of the city. For Muscovites, they will prepare city decorations with compositions from fresh flowers and a big entertaining programme.
