The authorities allocated about 50 billion rubles for additional payments to health workers who were involved in fighting against COVID-19, TASS reported with reference to the head of the Russian government Mikhail Mishustin.
Mishustin noted that the government will provide about 640 million rubles from the reserve fund for equipping beds for the virus-infected in single-industry towns. He also instructed the country’s Ministry of Health and the governors to ensure that patients with other diseases are treated promptly during a pandemic.
