6.5 Thousand Moscow Moms Received Help From City Career Centre

Since the beginning of the restrictions introduced due to the coronavirus pandemic, over 6.5 thousand Moscow mothers have joined the educational programme of the My Career centre. They were provided with remote assistance in finding vacancies and offered consultations in employment, the official website of the Moscow Mayor reported.

According to Irina Shvets, the director of the My Career centre, special help groups and psychologists conduct individual consultations and help Muscovites to overcome fear and insecurity of a job search. They create a friendly atmosphere, distract from anxieties, give self-confidence, and make people believe in themselves.

Every day the participants of the programme “Mom Works” receive online support on issues of interest. Since the introduction of the self-isolation regime, more than 400 vacancies for mothers have been published in a special chat. It is noted that all services are provided online in full.
