In Novosibirsk, the Ekran plant is expanding the production of bottles. They are preparing to launch a new glass melting furnace, which will increase output by one third. Almost 600 million bottles a year will go off the assembly line, VN.RU reported.
The Novosibirsk plant is the largest producer of glass containers in the Urals, which is in demand both in Siberia, the Far East, and in the western part of Russia. The total project cost is 1 billion 300 million rubles. It will be realized thanks to the help of regional authorities. Close interaction between government and business has allowed the development of a set of measures to support small and medium enterprises.
First of all, the entrepreneurs will be provided with subsidies (this applies to the companies from affected small and medium-sized businesses). The subsidy is 12,130 rubles per employee per month for April and May. For the second quarter of the year, the main taxes will be written off for companies. Also now there are loans on favourable terms at 0% on salaries.
According to the Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship Development of the Novosibirsk Region, Andrei Goncharov, on the territory of large industrial enterprises, free production areas will appear, which is necessary to create industrial parks, thereby supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
