The centre works a little less than a month and is already popular among Omsk citizens. On Friday, December 6, it will be exactly one month since the opening of the Hermitage-Siberia Center.
According to the director of the museum named after M.Vrubel, Farida Bureeva, whose structure includes the new centre, it has already been visited by 9.5 thousand people since the opening.
The Omsk Museum is already in talks with the State Hermitage Museum over the next exhibition. It is planned to receive it next year, and all offers to the Hermitage from the Omsk Region are designed for the next five years. Farida Bureeva said that the Center will alternate cultural and historical exhibitions with art ones.
According to the director, the Omsk Center Hermitage-Siberia is especially popular among couples on weekends; students and schoolchildren are active on weekdays.
In the next two months, the museum will launch creative classes for all ages, to which professionals from various fields of activity will be invited. On Saturday, December 7, the educational program starts at the exhibition from the collection of the State Hermitage “Military culture and weapons traditions of the Middle East.”
