On May 6, the Red Carnation charity action was launched throughout Russia. The ‘Memory of Generations’ Charitable Foundation sells commemorative badges through online marketplaces, retail partners, and volunteer organizations under the motto “I Remember. I help”, GOV SPB reported.
All funds from the sale of the badges are used to provide high-tech medical care to veterans. Everyone who wears this badge can say “I remember the lost heroes. I help the living veterans”. Due to the self-isolation regime, this year the action takes long, so you still can buy the badge now in stores, in popular retail chains, and in Russian Post offices.
It is noted that after the cancellation of self-isolation, the badges will be distributed by volunteers in public places, as well as celebrations dedicated to the Year of Memory and Glory in Russia, including the postponed Victory Parade.
