All finalists of their choice were divided into eight faculties: career, science, special opportunities, security, sustainable development, travel, education of the future, relationships and psychological health. In these categories, they passed competitive tests.

It is noted that although the project was launched for the first time this year, it has already become one of the most popular contests on the presidential platform. The competition for getting to the final was almost 600 people per place.

The participants had to think over and design a real university of the future and offer their answers to the mega-challenges that universities and participants themselves as representatives of Russian youth face.

“The task of such contests is to teach to try and make mistakes, and despite this, to continue moving towards the goal,” the General Director of the ‘Knowledge’ Russian Society, Maksim Dreval, said.

In turn, the Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Sergey Lyulin, noted that the Academy is trying to make sure that all academic research centres have an open, modern and competitive environment, even in such difficult times as we have nowadays.

As previously reported, according to the results of the competition, 200 winners will be named, who will receive awards in the amount of 1 million rubles. These funds can be used for education, launching a startup or improving housing conditions.
