Additional payments of 5 thousand rubles were transferred by 1.8 million Russian children, TASS reports with reference to the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Russia Anton Kotyakov.
Kotyakov noted that since April 17, families that have the right to maternity capital will receive every month 5 thousand rubles per child up to 3 years.
“At the moment, funds have already been transferred to families for 1 million 898 thousand children. That is, we have already allocated 9.5 billion rubles from the federal budget for these purposes,” Kotyakov said.
He added that taxes on such payments are not taken into account in family income when providing other social measures.
