Due to the complication of the situation with coronavirus in the Omsk region, the operational headquarters turned to the medical university for help with a request to send students to work in hospitals, om1 reports.
It is noted that the training is now taking place online, so young doctors have the opportunity to help doctors. The work is carried out in three directions, namely the employment of residents, volunteer work of students, and consultations of professors.
In total, 488 residents have already been employed as trainee doctors, and 150 people will get jobs soon. Young employees receive additional payments as certified specialists, as they already have qualifications and appropriate training, and have been trained under a special programme for working in COVID centres.
