As part of the influenza vaccination campaign, more than 67.8 million Russians have already been vaccinated. As the press service of the Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection (Rospotrebnadzor) clarified, this is 46.2 per cent of the total population of the country.
It is noted that the activity of influenza viruses in the countries of the European Region currently remains at the interepidemic level, which is confirmed by the World Health Organization. It is specified that the epidemic thresholds for the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections have been exceeded in 42 regions; the excess of indicators is observed mainly among adults.
