The first stage of the competition for the title of the best KHL mascot started on February 7, 2021. The first task from the choreographer Egor Druzhinin was a dance. At the mascot competition, the symbol of HC ‘Siberia’, Angry Snowman, danced twerk.
Accompanied by two beauties, the Snowman performed a dance, for which he received almost 1,000 points. It is specified that for now, this character is being overtaken by Omsk, Minsk, and Chelyabinsk mascots. It is noted that the mascots of all KHL clubs compete online. After the dance battle, the mascots will meet on the ice. The jury of the competition includes sports commentator and hockey expert Denis Kazansky, choreographer Egor Druzhinin, and showman Timur Rodriguez.
