Moscow doctors are actively using artificial intelligence (AI) technology to diagnose coronavirus infection. In two weeks, about 30 thousand examinations were processed in this way, the official website of the Moscow Mayor reports.
According to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, Anastasia Rakova, automatic data processing technologies and artificial intelligence help save medical staff resources and speed up the time of patient diagnosis. Rakova said that the accuracy of determining the stages of development of pneumonia from the computer tomography (CT) images was more than 90 per cent. It is also stated that in Moscow, 48 outpatient CT centres operate to detect coronavirus.
