In March 2021, residents of St. Petersburg purchased about 9 thousand new cars, the experts of the AUTOSTAT analytical agency note. According to the data provided by experts, the Hyundai Creta crossover took first place in St. Petersburg with 420 purchased cars.
The second place in the rating is occupied by the Renault Logan sedan, which was purchased in the amount of 378 cars, and the third, by the Volkswagen Tiguan crossover (349 cars). The former leader, KIA Rio, dropped to the fourth line of the rating table with an indicator of 345 cars. Hyundai Solaris sedan (340 cars) also entered the top five in St. Petersburg.
Next in the top 10 go the Volkswagen Polo liftback (308 cars), KIA K5 (258 cars), LADA Vesta (252 cars), LADA Largus (249 cars), and the Toyota RAV4 crossover (232 cars). Experts note that 7 out of 10 models in the rating ended the month with negative dynamics. At the same time, Renault Logan increased its indicators stronger than others in the top 10, by 3.7 times.
