In Russian alcohol stores, the average check has decreased since the beginning of the year by 14 per cent compared to the same period in 2019, according to the research conducted by Taxcom, RT reports.
It is reported that since January 2020, the average check for purchases in Russian alcohol stores amounted to 447 rubles, while last year it was 519 rubles. It is noted that the average check in the segment of hotels, restaurants, cafes, and bars was 990 rubles, which is 18 per cent less compared to last year. The experts also found out that the average check in supermarkets decreased by 6 per cent, from 755 rubles to 707 rubles.
