In Moscow, a ban was put until the end of the year on shutting down utility services for debts. According to Petr Biryukov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Housing and Communal Services, the fines and penalties for late or incomplete payments for gas, electricity, water, and heat supply were banned.
The deputy mayor also noted that Muscovites will not be charged penalties for late payments for overhaul. They are exempted from such payments from April 1 to June 30, so the city services are ready to advise residents on emerging issues by calling hotlines.
