Otkritie Bank significantly increased the share of sales in digital channels and launched a non-visit technology for the distribution of card and credit products, the press service of the bank reports.
It is noted that at the end of 2020, the volume of mortgage sales in digital channels of the bank amounted to 33.6 billion rubles, that is, almost a quarter of the total volume of mortgage loans and remote sales of cash loans amounted to 51 billion rubles, which is 38 per cent of the total volume of loans. Of these, 10.6 billion rubles issued without a visit to the bank’s office. Issuance of credit cards with home delivery totalled 3,700 (over 2.3 billion rubles).
In 2020, Otkritie Bank has significantly expanded the geography of courier delivery of card products. The service is currently available in 138 cities for the delivery of debit cards and in 27 cities for the delivery of credit cards, including in those locations where there are no bank branches. It is also specified that the delivery service allowed to increase the volume of sales of credit cards by one and a half times and sales of debit cards in digital channels by 33 per cent.
Now, the bank plans to launch a number of new card products for 2021, as well as expand the capabilities of the card delivery service to 500 cities. The digitalization of products reduces their cost for the bank, which ultimately makes them not only more convenient but also more profitable for customers.
