The city administration and deputies from the United Russia faction of the Bataysk City Duma reached an agreement with a local taxi company on the provision of transport with drivers for the needs of medical institutions, the city administration website reports.
“This is, of course, very convenient and, in fact, vital now. We can easily get anywhere in the city, which means that more people will receive timely consultations and appointments,” the therapist of the Central City Hospital, Diana Baghdasaryan, said.
It is noted that the regional volunteer centre of “United Russia” helps to provide the allocated cars with fuel. On the same days, party volunteers deliver to doctors of Don hospitals medical and protective equipment, as well as food kits and drinking water.
