Russian composer and producer, Igor Krutoy, said that the singer Alexander Panayotov is likely to represent Russia at the Eurovision international music contest, reports RIA News.

The probability that Panayotov will go to Eurovision as a representative of Russia, Krutoy estimated at 90 per cent. The decision on the contestant is usually taken before the end of February. In 2020, an international competition will be held from May 12 to 16 in Rotterdam.
In 2019, Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest for the second time was represented by the singer Sergey Lazarev. Artist took third place with the song Scream!, as in 2016 when he participated in a competition in Stockholm.
