The Victory Museum on Sunday, January 12, hosted the traditional charity Christmas Concert. It was organized for young residents of the capital from large and poor families, the press service of the cultural institution said.
The holiday, which was attended by over 400 children, was organized by the Church Of St Great Martyr George The Victorious On Poklonnaya Hill.
“This event at the Victory Museum has been held since 2013. This year, a chamber orchestra led by Honored Artist of Russia Viktor Lutsenko and puppeteer Nikolai Zykov, who showed a light puppet show, participated in the performance,” said Archpriest Serafim Nedosekin.
Students of Sunday schools before the start of the performance presented a Christmas nativity scene in the lobby of the Zhukov Hall.
