Christmas Market in Moscow Region Opens on December 4

Christmas bazaars will start operating in the Moscow region on December 4, but most of the points will open after December 20, Radio 1 reports, with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow region. 

It is noted that it will be possible to buy a New Year tree at 400 sites in all districts of the region, and 70 per cent of the trees presented in the bazaars are Russian. It is noted that the main suppliers of Christmas trees this year are Perm and Kirov regions. It is also specified that pines will be brought from the Penza region, and fir from Denmark, Estonia, and Poland.
