On December 30, 2020, five employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the costumes of Father Frost descended from the roofs of the Nizhny Novgorod city hospital building and through the windows congratulated the young patients, NewsNN reports.
It is noted that such a surprise helped to give the feeling of a holiday to little patients who are undergoing long-term treatment in the oncology, haematology and other departments of the hospital, as well as to their parents. Children who will spend New Year’s Eve in the hospital due to serious treatment received 215 sweet gifts in total. The head physician of the hospital, Inna Kondratyeva, said that such an event helped children experience positive emotions, which is especially important for their recovery.
