Coma: Science Fiction by Russian Filmmakers

The “Coma” film is Russian science fiction with a budget of 250 million rubles, the director and screenwriter of which is Nikita Argunov (Mafia: the Game of Survival).

The producers of the project are Ruben Dishdishyan (T-34), as well as Sarik and Ghevond Andreasyans (Champions). The international premiere of the picture has already taken place in the Czech Republic, and in Russia, “Coma” is released in early 2020.

The protagonist of the film is a talented architect who gets into a terrible car accident. As a result, both his body and his mind are in a coma. He finds himself in a bizarre world, existing out of time and space, with its own laws established by the people who are also in a coma. The main character has to understand himself and try to find a way out of there.

The cast of the film is led by Rinal Mukhametov (Invasion), followed by Lyubov Aksyonova (Beyond the Edge), Anton Pampushny (The Balkan Line), Milos Bikovic (Ice), Konstantin Lavronenko (The Last Bogatyr), and others. The premiere date in Russia is taking place in Russian cinemas from January 30.
