The Moscow Cosmonautics Museum presents an online exhibition with the sketches of the interiors of Soviet Soyuz spacecraft, drawings by the Russian and Soviet pioneer of the astronautic theory, Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, as well as costumes of cosmonauts of different times, the official website of the Moscow Mayor reports.
The ‘Space Design’ online exhibition will be held on the website of the Museum of Cosmonautics on May 26 at 4 pm. To join the event, preregistration is required. The exhibition has 5 sections: “The Origins of Space Design”, “Space Technology”, “Architecture of Extraterrestrial Settlements”, “Ensuring the Professional Activities of Cosmonauts”, and “Space Suits and Flight Suits”.
The exhibition will present the work of Galina Balashova, who created the design of many Soviet spacecraft, viewers will learn about the equipment used by space service personnel on Earth, and much more. The videos of the exhibition will be posted on the museum’s pages on VKontakte and Facebook social networks.
