Tour operators noted that Crimea is in high demand among tourists for the May holidays and in the summer, the Federal Tourism Agency reports on March 6, according to Interfax.
It is stated that holidays on the Crimean peninsula is getting more and more popular, and in some travel companies, the number of bookings has doubled compared to the previous year. This year, the average check for holidays in Crimea for the May holidays fell by 8.22 per cent.
Demand for the May holidays is growing among residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg and the cities with which rail links are launched this spring. Tourists are mainly going to go to Sevastopol, Yalta and Yevpatoriya.
