The head of the Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, ordered from April 1 to begin the free issuance of land plots to residents of the region taking part in a special military operation (SVO). He announced this on Tuesday, January 31, in his Telegram channel.
Aksyonov specified that the plots are allocated in the immediate vicinity of the sea in the Saki, Black Sea (Chernomorsky), Razdolnensky, and Leninsky districts.
“These territories will be provided with the necessary infrastructure,” Aksenov promised.
As reminded, Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. President Vladimir Putin said that in this way Moscow responded to the requests of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) for help.
Russian soldiers are to be supported by such significant means, not only for their participation in the operation. According to Kommersant, the governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory, Alexander Osipov, signed a decree of the regional government determining the amount of payments to citizens taking part in the SVO for the capture or destruction of Leopard and Abrams tanks.
As noted in a document published in the Zabaikalsky Rabochy newspaper established by the government of the region, “lump-sum payments will affect Russian citizens registered in the Trans-Baikal Territory.”
“To establish the following lump-sum payments. For the capture of one Leopard tank of any modification to the person who directly captured the tank, which is in working condition, in the amount of 3 million rubles. Persons who participated in the seizure of the tank (up to 10 people inclusive), 500 thousand rubles each . For the destruction of one Leopard tank of any modification to the person who directly destroyed one tank, the amount of 1 million rubles. Persons who participated in the destruction of the tank (up to 5 people inclusive), 150 thousand rubles each,” the document states.
For the capture and destruction of Abrams tanks, payments are determined in the amount of 1.5 million rubles and 500 thousand rubles, respectively. Citizens (up to five people inclusive) who helped capture or destroy a tank, get 300 thousand and 100 thousand rubles, respectively.
It should be noted that, according to the assurances of the American authorities, Abrams tanks will be delivered to Ukraine only in a few months, after they are assembled at the factory, which is currently busy with orders for Poland and Taiwan.
In addition to the above-mentioned reward, Russian businessmen promised to pay 10 million rubles for each American Abrams tank hit. This promise was announced by the Russian actor and director Ivan Okhlobystin, URA.NEWS reported.
“It is with undisguised pleasure that I hasten to inform you that some representatives of large Russian businesses have authorized me to inform you that they are awarding a bonus of 10 million rubles for each damaged Abrams,” Okhlobystin wrote on his Zen blog.
It should be reminded that a number of states have previously expressed their willingness to hand over their tanks to Kiev. In particular, the United States announced that it would transfer 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. Also, the dispatch of 14 Leopard tanks was announced in Germany.
“Release the Leopards immediately!” the crowd chanted outside the office of Chancellor Olaf Scholz, ZN.UA reported.
After the United States, it was Germany that provided Kiev with the greatest military assistance. Berlin sent air defense systems, MLRS, and a few weeks ago announced that it would transfer dozens of Marder infantry fighting vehicles.
So the financial reward to Russian soldiers for the hit of enemy vehicles sent by the West, is a clear response to the Western intention to put their combat machines towards Russians. The ex-CEO of Roscosmoc, Dmitry Rogozin, was the one to give another clear reply to the NATO and US intentions:
