On February 29, in Moscow, the official opening of the largest in Europe indoor theme park ‘Dream Island‘ will be held. The construction of the park began in 2017, and investors have invested more than one and a half billion dollars in the project, VM.RU reports.
Denis Teterin, general director of the ‘Dream Island’ holding company, says that the place itself was not chosen by chance: in Moscow, there is no analogue of the peninsula surrounded by a river like this; now the Nagatinskaya floodplain will take a second birth with the opening of the park.
‘Dream Island’ will become the first in Russia and Europe’s largest indoor theme park of a world level. There you can take exciting rides, watch colourful shows, meet your favourite cartoon characters and try their food in themed cafes.
The park is already called a city resort with an area of 300 thousand square meters. On its territory, there will be 27 modern attractions that have no analogues in the world and are suitable for visitors of all ages. One of the attractions is a Venetian carousel with a height of more than 9 meters and a diameter of more than 11 meters. The carousel can accommodate up to 82 people at a time.
The unique architecture inside the complex gives visitors a chance “to visit Europe”, the decorations create an impression of being in the streets of Barcelona, Rome, London. The holding company consider visiting American, Arab, Asian or European amusement parks expensive, and trying the most modern entertainment in Moscow easier and cheaper.
