From April 13 to May 17, 2021, the All-Russian Online Olympiad “Young Entrepreneur and Financial Literacy” for students in grades 1-9 is being held on the educational platform Uchi.ru, the press service of the central bank reports.
The main task of the Olympiad is to acquaint children with the basics of entrepreneurial thinking and financial literacy. Participants will solve problems close to real business problems, learn how to compare and choose financial products, and protect themselves from fraudsters in the financial market. Participation in the competition is free and does not require in-depth knowledge of the school curriculum.
It is specified that on the day of the start of the main round of the competition, April 27, at 9.30 am Moscow time, in 13 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the Chairman of the Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, will hold an open online lesson on how to successfully manage finances. The broadcast will be available on the event page, in the personal accounts of teachers and students on the Uchi.ru platform, in the Bank of Russia community on the VK social network, as well as on the Bank of Russia online financial literacy lessons website.
