Several countries have officially announced their willingness to receive tourists from Russia. The executive director of the Association of Tour Operators of the Russian Federation, Maya Lomidze, listed these countries: Turkey, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Maldives, Croatia, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates.
Lomidze noted that these countries are important tourist destinations and are in high demand in the Russian market, NSN reported. The expert also said that there are certain restrictions put by these countries. As a rule, tourists may be required to certify the absence of COVID-19. The director clarified that in the near future the list of countries that are ready to open borders for Russians may expand. It is specified that on July 16, Abkhazia and Italy will decide on this, and at the end of July, it will become known about the decision of Spain.
