From January to November 2020, residents of St. Petersburg bought 49 new electric cars, according to the statistics provided by the experts of the AUTOSTAT analytical agency.
It turned out that more than 70 per cent of purchased electric cars belong to the Audi and Tesla brands (the total number of cars was 38 units). In the model rating, the Audi e-Tron electric crossover is in the lead (22 cars). The second place occupied the Tesla Model 3 (10 units), and the third was the Nissan Leaf (6 cars). The top 5 also includes the Jaguar I-Pace (4 cars) and the Tesla Model X (3 cars).
It is noted that about 10 per cent of all new electric cars purchased in Russia in January-November 2020 fell to the share of St. Petersburg. Moscow took first place in this rating, and the share of each of the remaining regions is less than 10 per cent.
