An investor, Leonid Boguslavsky, the Senator of Dagestan, Suleiman Kerimov, and a businessman, Arkady Volozh, increased their wealth faster than anyone else this spring, Forbes magazine reported.
It is noted that Boguslavsky became the wealthiest one during the pandemic. The shares in DataDog, of which he is an investor, nearly tripled from March to July 2020, from $1.5 billion to $2.8 billion. Kerimov, who took the second place, owns 78.6 per cent of the Russian gold mining company Polyus. It is specified that his fortune has grown from $10 billion to $18 billion during the above mentioned months. Volozh, the founder of Yandex, closes the top three with the fortune that has grown from $1.2 billion to $2.1 billion. The top 10 list also included Oleg Tinkov, Vladimir Yevtushenkov, Vladimir Bogdanov, Nikolai Buinov, Valentin Gapontsev, and Albert Shigabutdinov.
