According to the results of the sales in 2022, Lada Granta has become the most popular car model in Russia. It was purchased by 87,982 buyers, as reported by the Autostat agency on January 10, 2023.
The second in the list is the Lada Vesta model (32,790 cars), which was the market leader in 2021. Kia Rio is in third place with an indicator of 23,909 cars.
The domestic Lada Niva Travel SUV is on the fourth line of the top 10 most popular cars in the country with 19,389 cars sold. Next goes the Chinese crossover Chery Tiggo 7 PRO, the demand for which increased by 55.7 per cent, to 19,292 cars (taking into account the related Tiggo 7 crossover).
This is followed by two Hyundai models: the Solaris sedan (19,038 cars) and the Creta crossover (18,886 cars). The Chinese crossover Haval Jolion, which is produced in the Tula region, found 17,447 owners in 2022. The classic Lada Niva Legend SUV was purchased in the amount of 16,117 cars.
Finally, the Renault Duster crossover closed the top 10 most popular models in Russia with an indicator of 13,468 cars sold.
