Specialists of the Rabota.ru job search service conducted a survey on the most attractive tourist destinations in Russia and presented the results on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.
According to the results of the study, Altai, Sochi, and St. Petersburg entered the top three. People from different regions of Russia voted for these cities as the best tourist destinations. Altai became the leader of the rating (34 per cent of respondents’ votes). The beauty and richness of nature were appreciated by 86 per cent of respondents, a large number of attractions by 53 per cent, and silence and privacy by 44 per cent.
Sochi was preferred by 30 per cent of respondents, St. Petersburg, by 28 per cent, the Republic of Karelia, by 27 per cent, and the Caucasus, by 24 per cent.
It is noted that those who voted for St. Petersburg highlighted such qualities of the city as a large number of attractions (79 per cent), transport accessibility and relatively inexpensive tickets (67 per cent), as well as a large number of entertainment venues (28 per cent).
