In the first four months of 2021, new car sales in the Russian market grew by 24.3 per cent year on year. Even higher sales growth rates were recorded in the Chinese segment of the Russian car market, RIA Novosti reports.
Thus, Haval dealers have sold 9,559 vehicles since the beginning of the year, which is 114 per cent more than in the same period last year. Chery cars were bought by 9,290 people, so the brand occupies the second place. The demand for the brand’s products increased by 383 per cent compared to January-April 2020. It is noted that another 720 crossovers were sold under the premium sub-brand Chery Exeed. Finally, Geely ranked third with 5,301 vehicles sold with a 78 per cent increase in sales.
