The top three in new car sales in Moscow since the beginning of this year includes Kia Rio (3,467 cars), Volkswagen Polo (3,416 cars), and Hyundai Creta (3,375 cars), the Autostat analytical agency reported. The top five also included Nissan Qashqai (3,352 cars) and Volkswagen Tiguan (2,471 cars).
As for the statistics in St. Petersburg, Volkswagen Polo is in the lead on the market (1,763 cars) in the first half of the 2020 year. Hyundai Creta (1,714 cars) occupies the second place, and KIA Rio (1,573 cars) closes the top three. Volkswagen Tiguan (1,271 cars) and Hyundai Solaris (1,068 cars) are included in the top five.
The experts also noted that by the end of June 2020 in both Moscow and St. Petersburg the title of the leader of the car market belongs to the Hyundai Creta crossover. In Moscow, this car was purchased by 799 residents, and in St. Petersburg, by 361 residents.
