The Rusfinance Bank analysts conducted a study and identified the Top 10 Russian regions with the most affordable loans for new cars. The study was based on a comparison of the monthly payment of a client on a car loan and the amount of his average income indicated when filling out a questionnaire for a loan.
The leaders in the first quarter of 2020 were the Sakhalin and Amur regions, as well as the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Their residents spend the least on the car loans, on average from 14% to 17% of the monthly budget for a loan instalment for a car, which is associated with the size of the average amount of a car loan. The list of the most affordable loans also includes the Tomsk, Rostov, Krasnodar, and Nizhny Novgorod regions, Moscow, the Khabarovsk region, and the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
