Experts of the tourism industry analyzed the proposals for sanatoriums in August 2020, and based on these data compiled a rating of the regions with the most affordable vacation of this kind, the TurStat analytical agency reported.
The top 5 regions where it is cheapest to have a vacation and undergo treatment in sanatoriums included Central Russia, the Urals, the Far East, the Volga region, and Northwest Russia. It is specified that the accommodation, meals, and treatment on average per day in the sanatoriums of the Central Federal District will cost 2,310 rubles.
The Ural (2,370 rubles per day) and Far Eastern districts (2,440 rubles per day) that are in the top 3, also showed low prices. The Privolzhsky and Northwestern districts reached the indicators of 2,540 and 3,050 rubles. In Siberia, the cost is 3,100 rubles a day, in the Southern Federal District it is 3,600 rubles, and in the North Caucasus is 3,650 rubles.
