This year, many Russian companies have decided to skip the idea of having New Year’s parties, as experts interviewed by the Izvestia newspaper told. Earlier, the question was discussed whether it is reasonable celebrating New Year’s holidays en masse while many Russians are mobilized and are out of their homes. Nevertheless, there is still a demand for stars who are invited to corporate parties.
Such Russian singers as Philipp Kirkorov, Nikolai Baskov, Grigory Leps turned out to be in the trend. By the New Year, the artists’ prices were always going up. As the artists say, “this night feeds the year.” However, this year, according to data provided by the National Association of Event Organizers, the corporate market suffered losses and reduced demand by 20 per cent.
Conversations about the cancellation of the New Year celebration began in St. Petersburg. There, and then in Nizhny Novgorod, city New Year’s events were canceled. This was the trigger for the rejection of celebrations in other cities. Someone was afraid of condemnation, someone thought that it would not be reasonable to have fun in difficult times for the country.
“The demand for corporate events has changed, there are very few applications, they are isolated,” said producer Leonid Dzyunik. “Firstly, demand has fallen because people are saving money. Secondly, the situation with SVO [special military operation]. In each team there are those who left as a volunteer or on mobilization. People are waiting and praying.”
Artists also understand the unstable financial situation. And if there are no “fat” orders in Moscow, they are ready to fly to Vladivostok or Kamchatka.
Nevertheless, the president of the National Association of Event Organizers, Yulia Zholya, noted that interest in artists who have defined their patriotic position has grown very much. As an example, she mentioned SHAMAN, who sounds from all corners of the country with his patriotic song “I Am Russian” which has now (since July 22, 2022) over 20 million views.

According to the organizer of concert and corporate events Ali Levshin, among the most popular singers in Russia are also Grigory Leps, Nikolai Baskov, Philipp Kirkorov and the most popular artist of 2022 according to polls of the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM), Oleg Gazmanov.

“Those who stayed in the country, who supported their Motherland, are in demand,” said the organizer.
According to REN TV, a New Year’s Eve with Philipp Kirkorov can cost $300 thousand, 5 million rubles should be paid for 40 minutes of Dima Bilan‘s hits, Niletto and Zivert can sing for the same amount of money. The performance of Klava Koka costs 6 million rubles, and the star’s of the 1990s, Shura, 2.5 million.

Promoter Ivan said that Philipp Kirkorov in his rider requires separate rooms for his ballet, musicians, and administration, with dressing tables, good light, as well as a room for costumes, and for himself — a full-length mirror, flowers, water without gas, and orange juice.
According to REN TV, Niletto in the dressing room requires the presence of a toy of any cartoon character, as well as six packs of instant noodles. According to the same TV channel, Zivert asks for a kilogram of grilled salmon and veal well done, olives stuffed with lemon, and honey.
