St. Petersburg, Makhachkala, and Vladikavkaz are named the best destinations in Russia to go on a trip on Valentine’s Day if you are ready to spend less than five thousand rubles per person.
As noted in a study of the OneTwoTrip travel planning service, Valentine’s Day, which is celebrated on February 14, in 2022 falls on Monday, so if you take a vacation on this exact day, you can make a mini-trip for three days. In such case, trips with departure from Moscow on February 12 and return on February 15 to St. Petersburg, Makhachkala, and Vladikavkaz are recognized as the most “budget-friendly” and interesting ones.
Specialists specified that the average cost of an air ticket to St. Petersburg and back amounts to 3.6 thousand rubles, and a night in a three-star hotel will cost about 1.1 thousand rubles. St. Petersburg is recommended for its historical centre and a large number of cafes and restaurants suitable for romantic dates.
The flight to Makhachkala and back also costs about 3.6 thousand rubles with the accommodation cost of about 1.2 thousand rubles per night for two persons. From the capital of Dagestan, you can go to see the natural attractions.
