Technopolis “Moscow” took second place in the rating of investment attractiveness of special economic zones (SEZ) in Russia, according to the shortlist made by the Association of Clusters and Technoparks of Russia. Also, the Moscow Region “Dubna” Technopark and the St. Petersburg SEZ are among the top three leaders.
It is noted that at the end of last year, the volume of investments of residents amounted to 6.6 billion rubles, and about 800 new jobs were created, which is two and a half times more than a year earlier, according to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.
It is specified that the Moscow technopark includes five sites which cover an area of 223.3 hectares. More than 180 companies operate in the technopolis, and 79 of them have resident status. This year in the technopolis the indicators of infrastructure, land resources, investment activity and business friendliness have grown.
