Experts Told About Russians’ Love to Travelling by Bus

Tourists interviewed by the OneTwoTrip online service told how often they choose a bus for travel, RIA Novosti reports.

Experts conducted a study among 1,380 service users and found out that 52 per cent of them travelled by bus at least once in their lives but more than half of them (56 per cent) considered this option as a forced measure, while the rest really like such trips.

In addition, three-quarters of the respondents (75 per cent) noted that, given the low cost of tickets, they would be happy to use this means of transportation to travel abroad. Almost half (44 per cent) of survey participants do not pay attention to the duration of a trip and are ready to spend more than ten hours on the way. However, given the same ticket price, the majority (83 per cent) would still prefer the train.
