The Federal Agency for Tourism (Rosturizm) together with the authorities of Kamchatka have agreed to develop tourist routes using road and sea transport, as reported by TASS with reference to the agency’s press service.
According to the Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation, Zarina Doguzova, in order to diversify tourist flows, the agency, together with the regional authorities, will develop tourist routes, including visits to unique volcanoes and “natural points of attraction” of Kamchatka using road and sea transport. Such events include jeep tours, as well as sea excursions (including cruises) and recreation opportunities near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
It is specified that in the near future a project will be launched in Kamchatka to organize motorcycle tours that are to be conducted by the owners of a unique for the Far East motorcycle park. It is noted that the motocross track was developed jointly with the New Zealand track designer, Greg Atkins, who has 30 years of experience in this business.
