Finland Takes Russia’s Success in Military Operation in Ukraine as West’s Defeat

Russia’s victory in Ukraine will have a negative impact on the image of the West, the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Finnish Parliament, Jussi Halla-aho, said in an interview with Yle.

The deputy claimed that the success of the special operation will show the world that Moscow, which the politician called a “developing agricultural society”, can single-handedly prevail over the entire collective West, including the US and Europe.

“How will this affect the image of Europe and the entire Western social order, for example in the Third World countries, which are now very closely watching what is happening here?” Halla-aho wondered.

He pointed out that Europe and the US have unequivocally chosen a side in this situation, providing Ukraine with military, economic and political assistance. He noted that Moscow drew attention to the actions of the West and regarded them as the direct participation of Kiev’s allies in the conflict.
