The Christmas Star Fire Festival will take place on January 7 and 8 at the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island and the beach of the Peter and Paul Fortress, reports fontanka.ru.
From 19.00 to 21.00 the citizens will see a performance that combines several types of art. On the Spit of Vasilievsky Island, live performances of fire and light will take place. They will be interspersed with the display of paintings by lighting designers and special effects that will appear on the wall of the Peter and Paul Fortress, that will become a canvas.
A “fire eater” from France, Belarusian dancers on stilts, jugglers and balancers, acrobats, break dancers and street gymnasts with a neon-light show will perform on stage. In addition, 5 fireworks await the audience. They will be prepared by teams from different countries: Andorra, Azerbaijan, Belarus and the USA.
