Bare-knuckle fighting is registered by the Russian Ministry of Sports as an official sports discipline, as reported by the Boxing Federation of Russia.
A fistfight is a fight in which two or more people hit each other with their fists and is usually done bare-handed. Although when practised as a sport, such fighting is referred to as “boxing” and is usually done while wearing gloves.
It is stated that the type of competitive activity “fistfight” is recognized as a sports discipline officially now in Russia. Also, a corresponding department has been created in the Russian Boxing Federation. In total, there are several organizations in Russia that conduct such kinds of fights, of which the biggest ones are Top Dog and Hardcore.
