Relatives of foreign athletes who train and perform in Russia were allowed to enter the country, according to the order signed by the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The order considers family members of foreign athletes, judges, coaches, and other specialists in the field of physical education.
It is noted that in August 2020, Russia lifted the restrictions imposed on the entry of foreign coaches and athletes due to the coronavirus, but this decision did not apply to their family members. Now the relatives of foreign athletes can also come to the country. To visit Russia, the athletes’ family members will need an ID and a visa that corresponds to the purpose of a trip.
