Moscow will not allow Washington to make decisions about the destruction of the Russian economy, as stated today, on March 10, by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. According to Lavrov, the Russian authorities will find a way not to depend on the others.
“We will make sure that we never find ourselves in such a situation again, and that no uncle, no Sam, no one else can make decisions that are aimed at destroying our economy,” he said.
Speaking about sanctions against Russia, the Minister said that the West had trampled on private property with a snap of its fingers. According to him, this shows that Western countries will betray anyone at any moment.
The US demand to China, India and other states to implement unilateral anti-Russian sanctions is disrespectful, Lavrov believes.
“You know, I could not imagine such disrespect for great countries, for great civilizations,” the Minister added.
In turn, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, pointed out that Western sanctions against Russia have dealt a blow to these countries themselves, the situation there will change dramatically.
