Fast food restaurants called previously McDonald’s and now Mac are located in Moscow and will start operating on Sunday, June 12, when the whole country will celebrate Day of Russia.
For now, it is indicated that the restaurants are closed “until Sunday.” Other spots with the former name McDonald’s have not gone away, but are marked “Closed” in the service.

Yandex.Maps representatives noted that owners of organizations can update and supplement data, edit information about themselves, promote their organization through advertising and much more if they wish. Earlier, the Russian McDonald’s app for iOS and Android mobile platforms was renamed “My Burger”.
As reminded, McDonald’s suspended the operation of all 850 of its restaurants in Russia on March 14, shortly after the start of a special military operation in Ukraine. On May 16, the company, whose share in the catering market reached 7 per cent, announced its withdrawal from Russia and, through the mediation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, sold the business to a Russian owner. The buyer was businessman Alexander Govor.
It is noted that the chain will operate under a new brand and with new names on the menu, and all its employees will keep their places “on equivalent terms” for at least two years. Earlier, the updated network presented a logo and announced the launch of an advertising campaign.
