From August 10 to August 17 in the Nizhny Novgorod region prices for potatoes, apples, and onions decreased, NewsNN reported with reference to the regional Ministry of Economic Development and Investment.
It is noted that most of all, potatoes fell in price (by 10.1 per cent), to 24.3 rubles per kilogramme. The price of apples decreased by 8.5 per cent, and for onions by 5.5 per cent. The cost of pasta made from premium wheat flour, sunflower oil, pork, bread, boiled sausage, millet, fresh white cabbage, and carrots has also decreased.
